Wonderful Profile of HUSEIN TABATABA’I – a book review

“Mukjizat Abad 20: Doktor Cilik Hafal dan Paham Al-Quran” is one of wonderful books. This book traces the life of Muhammad Husein Tabataba’i, a boy who has had five kinds of examinations for 210 minutes and has been successful to get the title “Doctor Honoris Causa” from Hijaz College Islamic University, England. He got it when he was seven years old.

By seeing the ability that Husein has, his father tried to teach him how to memorize the verses in Al-Quran seriously. But his father knew he was still child so that his father created some special methods to teach the meaning of each verses in Al-Quran.

We also can learn from this book about discipline. That is what Husein has done! Intensively, he always does memorizing activity about Al-Quran. Even, after he has memorized, he started to read one page interpretation book of Al-Quran everyday.
