Formal Letter for The After School Activities

Dear Friends,

I am very glad to encourage you to join the after school activities in our school, SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan.

There will be five clubs which can be joined. All of them will be held every Monday and Friday a 04.00 p.m. The first is ICT Club. You will have it in ICT Laboratory. If you want to learn how to make science paper, Science Club will be a good choice. You will enjoy many science experiments in Science Laboratory. The other is English Club. You will know hot to become good debater because debate will be one of activities of it beside news casting, story telling, and speech. It will be held in Language Room. The Art Club will invite you to be more creative some activities. You will be able to make dustbin become useful with complete equipments in Art Room. Finally, the last is News Club. It is related with journalistic.

So, they will be good ideas for you to develop your skills.

I should be grateful if you are interested to join one of the clubs. If you need some information related to them, you can ask Ibu Indri.

Go green...!!!!

Nowdays global warming issue still becomes especial topic in the world. Government trying to at least reduce the impact of global warming by making the new rule for the institutions or companies that produce much green house gases that can make global warming faster and worse!
As a good citizen,wikipiggy blogger members have done an event along with society with the theme “Go Green” to help government in reducing the impact of global warming by doing the plantations beside BLPT South Sumatera. Beside that, there were some workshops that held by wikipiggy blogger members about how we manage fossil energy in daily life and how the way we help the earth from global warming. This workshop followed by 350 people in a day and we raise for about Rp. 3.5 millions!
These money will we use for making energy alternative either from water or other substance to replace fossil energy with lower price than fossil energy! This energy alternative will not produce green house gases a lot, but only for about 7% from all.
This event was make us feel tired, but somehow we enjoyed the event with happiness and cheerfulness. We hope that we can do a lot better in the future to against global warming and we would be grateful if you can do much more better than us.

friend or foe?

STRESS always happen when we are under pressure and always there when we feel uncomfortable of something. What do you think, is it a friend or foe? Well, actually you are the only one who know the answer. For me whatever your answer is, it's TRUE! stress is depends on you, either you want to be in positive way or in negative way.
Some people feel that stress can be as a friend! it could be as the motivation to do something, they will be work well when they get pressure on it. But for others,stress can be as a foe,because when they get stress they will feel so down and it will give impact to their psychological. Moreover, they can get depression!
To avoid that, here some tips for those who are the foe of stress. First, make your environment become comfortable for you. Tidy up and clean up everything. It will be better if you have green plants. It can make you become relax and feel calm. Second, keep your health by doing exercises and eat good food. Third ,be enjoy with your job!think that you are able to do it.
So, for those who don't want to have stress ,do what you have known above.The last but not least is don't let stress control you!

CAAAAMP!!!

On Tuesday, 30 March 2010, we went to camping in the Agro Wisata Bina Dharma. In the first day, we went to there at 7 o'clock. we went by 3 buses. Our first activity is ice breaking. After that, we got a persentation from Mr. Darill.

We continued our activities with games. We got so many games. we divided into 9 houses, so games were played by a group. All of the games need a solidarity, patience, cooperation and learning not to be selfish in our house. At night, we continued with perormance from each house, it was amazing. in the afternoon we built our tend.

On the second day, early in the morning we had gymnastic and ice breaking and also continuing task from Mr.Fikri about personal wellbeing and community service and we do some persentation. After thet, we continued it with other games. games ware mostly for individual. we played flying fox.

In the early of morning, we had scavenger hunt. after that we did bon fire. All of students were crying when we had bon fire.

In the last day,we did other game, we played raft building. My house was doing it successfully, but we were not a winner. Then we go lunch and had the award announcement. I got award as a the most innovative. Probo, our captain house also got award and Haikal got award as a favourite student. After all of activities was done, we went back to dormitory. we felt happy. \

Friendly Letter

Dear Mom,
I am sorry that I have not sent you my letter. I was busy studying for my examinations and doing my school activities.

Any way, how are you? I hope that all things are going well.

Yesterday, I just came back from Inderalaya. I had leadership camp. My skin is getting darker now and I got sick. However, you do not need to be worry about that. I feel better today.

Mom, I miss you very much. Actually, I cannot wait to get holiday soon. Although it still has three weeks for me to go back to Belitang, I hope it is going to be good because I can use this time to do all of my projects, so I will able to spend my times with you all without think about that. By the way, how is Bagus’ school going? Does he get improvement for his score? I want to hear good news from him.

I hope we will have a good holiday. I cannot wait to meet you, my family!

Freedom Writer - Movie Review

The great movie that we have watched is Freedom Writers. Actually, we do not have any related to characters in movie but we were very interested to see efforts of Erin Gruwell and her students used writing to make changes when racism in America was so warm.

Moreover, the plot was suitable with the setting and situations. Therefore, it made one part to another part was connected each other. However, this movie showed many tortures, which are bad for children because usually they adapt something without considering it.

For teachers, they should understand students well and do not ever make them join bad gang. While for students, respect each other is the most important thing.

Well actually, people also should watch this movie. It teaches many good lessons and made us realized how important to be united with others although some differences have existed among us.
